Toni Janke is an independent, contemporary Australian singer/songwriter from Brisbane, Queensland Australia. 
 
Toni is a First Nations artist. Her family connection comes from Wuthathi, Yadighana and Meriam peoples of Cape York Peninsula and Murray Island in the Torres Strait. 
 
Toni has been writing her own songs and perfoming for over 30 years. She has performed at various festivals and events across Australia and runs workshops and events. She has recieved numerous awards for her music.
 
This album titled "The Brink" was released in 1999.
